CS6 - zip file to DVD as OSI, or ....

Win 7 - I've downloaded the zipped file of CS6 to desktop.  I want to burn the zipped file to a DVD-R DL (dual layer).  The DVD disk will be kept as a backup/reinstall disk, and I'll also be installing the app from the DVD to a 2nd pc that will be using the app..

1. Should the zip file be burned as an OSI or simply as a file?

2. Is there anything special to know about burning to a dual layered disk?

3. Would be best to transfer the zipped file over to the 2nd pc and unzip it there, or unzip from DVD to a folder on the hdd?

4. Is there anything special to watch for during installation of CS6?

Thank you.
