I'm having trouble with installing Adobe CS6 Master collection on to my computer. I am not certain on how to fix or even where to begin. The CS6 MstrColl (black disc) Icon shows up, I click on it which prompts a window title Adobe Creative Suite 6 Master Collection, in which I then click on the Black folder icon to prompt a new window, which has the Install application. I click on the Install application and everything seems to be going well except until about the half way point an error message appears indicating Installation Failed,.
Your installation encountered errors.
Installer failed to initialize. This could be due to missing file.
More troubleshooting tips:
1. Restart your computer - attempted and did not work
2. Exit all apps including startup items, virus checking and firewall software. - attempted and did not work
3. Launch the installer and install your applications. - attempted and did not work
I have spent about half the day downloading the CS6 Mstr Collection (4x - about 2 hours each time) and tried installing the software. I have looked at troubleshooting forums and for some reason I am either too frustrated or can't seem to find the right question to pull up the correct forum to answer my question. I am not certain on where to look in this so called "LOG" to help give a clue on what the error is and even when I find the "LOG" it doesn't seem to match up anything I have found on any of the Troubleshooting Forums. I have tried unclicking Verify checksums as well and that did not solve the issue.
Please help, I am at my wits end.
